In case of interruption of employment before the end of the contract period, Lease a Bike gives the employee four different options, depending on the situation and needs:
Change of employer: If the employee changes to a new employer who also has Lease a Bike at the time of the change, the individual agreement can be transferred and run as usual if the parties concerned agree.
Change of user: If there is an employee of yours who wants to take over the individual agreement, the agreement in question can be transferred to that person and the agreement continues as before.
Early termination: Early termination of a leasing agreement is only possible if you have special reasons and leads to buying out the benefit bike from the leasing partner after his approval.
Our take-back guarantee: In the event of termination by either party, in the event of longer parental leave or sick leave, we will take the bike back free of charge wherever you live in the country. This warranty applies after 6 months (i.e. from the 7th month of the leasing period in the individual agreement). If an employment contract is terminated before 6 months have passed, you can settle the remaining monthly payments until the take-back guarantee applies at the end of the employee's term.
If the employee tragically becomes medically disabled which makes it impossible to use their benefit bike or even more tragically dies, we will of course take the bike back immediately at no cost.
