Termination, parental leave or sick leave?
Don't worry – Lease a Bike has thought of everything. In such cases, there are four possible solutions:
Change of employer: If you change to a new employer who also has Lease a Bike at the time of the change, the individual agreement can be transferred and run as usual if the parties concerned agree.
Change of user: If there is another colleague who wants to take over the individual agreement, the agreement in question can be transferred to that person and the agreement continues as usual.
Early termination of the individual agreement: Early termination of the individual agreement is only possible if you have special reasons and lead to you buying out the benefit bike from the leasing partner after their approval.
Our pick-up guarantee: In the event of termination by either party, in the event of longer parental leave or sick leave, we will take the bike back free of charge wherever you live in the country. This guarantee applies from the 7th month of the leasing period in the individual agreement. If, tragically enough, you become medically disabled so that you cannot use your benefit bike, or even more tragically, you die, we will of course take the bike back immediately at no cost.
Your employer has access to a form that they must fill in when or if the above occurs. When you have made your decision, ask your employer to fill in the form that they will find in the info centre.
