All Lease a Bike bicycles come with comprehensive insurance that provides broader coverage than standard bicycle insurance—with no deductible, no depreciation due to age, and always the full replacement value in the event of a claim.
Insurance information
The insurance is valid throughout Europe and covers both personal and work-related use. It covers, among other things:
- Theft of the bicycle or its parts
- Damage caused by accidents, vandalism, falls, or punctures
- Mobility guarantee—reimbursement for transportation from the accident scene and a loaner bicycle while the claim is being processed
The insurance is handled entirely between the retailer and the employee, minimizing administration for the employer.
Important
- The bicycle must always be locked to a fixed object using an SSF-approved lock. Such a lock must be leased with the bicycle unless an approved lock is already available.
