All benefit bikes through Lease a Bike come with the most comprehensive comprehensive insurance on the market—no deductible, no age deduction, and always the full new value in the event of a claim. The insurance is valid throughout Europe and covers both personal and work-related use.
The insurance covers, among other things:
- Theft of the bike, parts, and e-bike battery
- Damage caused by falls, accidents, or punctures
- Mobility guarantee—compensation for transportation and a loaner bike if something happens
Important:
For the insurance to apply, the bike must be locked to a fixed object with an SSF-approved lock. If the employee does not have an approved lock, one must be leased with the bike in accordance with our contractual terms.

Maintenance
To simplify maintenance and ensure that warranties remain valid, we recommend leasing each bike with a service package. The cost is deducted through the gross salary deduction, which provides a tax benefit.
