Yes, your Lease a Bike bicycle is insured 24/7 throughout Europe – which means it is protected against both damage and theft even when you are abroad.
In the event of theft abroad:
File a police report in the country where the bicycle was stolen.
Make sure that the frame number is included in the police report.
When you return to Sweden, contact a Lease a Bike-affiliated bicycle shop. They will report the incident to us.
In the event of damage abroad:
If the bicycle is damaged while you are abroad, you need to report it to a Lease a Bike-affiliated shop when you return to Sweden.
Please note that repairs carried out abroad are not covered by the service and maintenance package.
If you cannot visit an affiliated shop immediately:
